The Monmouth County SPCA has moved up on their position to put an end to Puppy Mills. Sadly puppy mills are known for the careless breeding of animals and cruel treatment in the name of money. When the owner of the Freehold Mall located in Freehold NJ went into one of the SPCA shelters and saved a dog, giving him a new home, he knew that it was better to Adopt a pet. He decided he would not renew the lease of a pet store in the mall and instead worked with the SPCA to bring in the Freehold SPCA Adoption Center.
